Sara is a 500hr E-RYT, YACEP, RCYT certified yoga instructor dedicated to helping students reconnect with their bodies. Whether on the mat or in the community, Sara will greet you with a warm smile and a compassionate spirit. Her creative energy and genuine care for her students make a lasting impact.
Sara first discovered yoga during college. Initially drawn in by the idea of “exercise with a built-in nap,” she soon realized there was so much more to the practice. After graduation, Sara spent seven years living in a spiritual yoga retreat center, where she immersed herself in asana (physical movements), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, Ayurveda (ancient Indian medicine), and seva (selfless service). It was there that she completed her 200 hour, 500-hour yoga teacher certifications and 95-hour children's yoga teacher certification.
With thousands of teaching hours under her belt, Sara became a yoga educator, training others to become teachers themselves. Her classes range from high-intensity vinyasa, with dynamic breath-to-movement flows, to deeply restorative sessions with relaxing, prop-supported poses. Her goal is simple: to make yoga accessible to every body—no matter size, shape, age, or skill level. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. It’s not about touching your toes; it’s about connecting to your body and breath, giving yourself the time to move out of your head and into your heart.
Sara’s teaching is rooted in authenticity, allowing her to meet the unique needs of each student. She finds the greatest joy in witnessing her students’ personal growth and transformation.
When she’s not on the mat, you can find Sara swimming, playing with her golden retriever Jerry, singing mantras, cooking up a delicious meal, or dancing and laughing with friends.
