This is a comprehensive and personalized therapy that was developed between a physical therapist and a yoga therapist. This is a session for people looking to find harmony and balance in their body. While it is especially helpful for those with old injuries or specific issues it is also proven to help take your yoga practice to the next level giving a wealth of information specifically for how your body moves.
You will start by taking a yoga movement screening. This consists of 10 yoga poses to identify imbalances in the body. Depending on the results you will learn specifically tailored asanas (yoga postures) that meld physical therapy practices with yoga movements that allow your body to heal and realign like never before.
This is a class for one or a small group of people who would like to practice yoga but have limited time to meet on a regular basis. In these sessions you & Sara will work together on curating at home practices that you can use on a regular basis to keep your yoga focus strong. These could be “yoga snacks” throughout the day or full classes with instructions and a playlist to follow.
These sessions are especially helpful for those new to yoga in a classroom setting. Maybe you have tried yoga online or are just starting on your journey and would like some knowledge about poses and your correct alignment. We will go through the basic 57 poses and the proper alignment for each one. It may sound daunting but learning the correct postures in the beginning of your journey helps to set you up for long term success.
A one-on-one sound healing session is a unique opportunity to dive deep into relaxation and healing, with the practitioner offering individualized attention to support your specific needs.
As you relax, the practitioner uses a variety of sound healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and gongs. These instruments are played around and sometimes directly on your body, allowing the vibrations to resonate deeply within you. The sounds can promote physical, emotional, and energetic shifts, helping you release tension and reach a meditative state.
